Andrew Burke

A lifelong resident of Ipswich, Andrew studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London as a composer and pianist. Having recently retired from a highly popular government department, he now spends much of his time conducting, playing and arranging music – when the mood takes him (which it doesn't much these days) – composing. His musical activities are mostly within Suffolk, involved principally with the Ipswich Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Ipswich Operatic Society and Trianon Music Group.

When not involved with music, Andrew can often be found watching, photographing or travelling in trains, but apparently one isn't supposed to that (or admit to doing it) nowadays...
